Many people do think it's foolish. Claire has told him flat out that it's foolish, that he's going to end up dead. There's just so much that he feels needs to be done and if he doesn't do it then who will? He appreciates it every single morning that the smell of coffee wakes him up.

Ultimately, that's why he went ahead and told her how he felt about her: she is strong enough to handle all of it. She's been the one person that has been strong enough to handle both his lives and not fall apart with worry or leave because it was too complicated.

Matt had known that Foggy would be kind to Katniss, that he would try to get along with her and make her comfortable because Foggy does love him and he is a good friend. He hadn't realized they would become allies when he had left them alone together, but he's glad that they have each other. Foggy seems to be coping better since he's got Katniss as an ally. They're good for each other.

Some days Matt is surprised by it as well. Sometimes he thinks it's a big mistake, but she wants to help and Hell's Kitchen could use all the help it can get. Besides, it's good for them both to work out together. In any case, he's enjoying this as well.

Well, that had been his intention, but it's also fun to kiss her. She's plenty to see. He likes what she works out in. There's plenty of bare skin to slide his hands over. He knew that her being annoyed was a possibility, but he's glad that she goes with...well...working out is definitely more interesting right now. He bites the inside of his cheek against a groan. "Like the one you're in the process of trying to use against me now?"

It's a good diversion too. He's having to concentrate to keep his focus on their sparring.
