[Loki has no idea how long he has been walking through the forests, he does not really care for time. And Thori looks like he's having fun, applying the cocked leg to almost every tree and rock.

But the moment he lets his thoughts wander off again Thori decides to run for it, deciding that chasing some animal is more important than being a the best dog in the Nine Realms.]

By Odin's blistering sores, Thori!

[He snaps out of it immediately and starts to run after his disobedient dog.]

[Loki curses under his breath while running after Thori. But the dog is quick and he has a hard time to keep up with him.]

You are not the best dog in the Nine Realms now, Thori! Most definitely not!

[He isn't noticing that someone is pointing an arrow at Thori, at least, not until he makes a jump while attempting to finally catch his dog. Instead he catches the ground...]

No...!

[No, no, no. Loki scrambles to get up and manages to grab Thori right before the arrow would hit the dog. Thori starts to struggle immediately when Loki presses him close to his own body, barking about applying cocked legs and ripping bellies open.

Slowly he sits up, noticing the arrow is aimed at him now. His heart is racing and he frowns at her. Yes, he's quite angry but at this point anger isn't going to get him anywhere so he takes a very, very deep breath.]

Shooting my dog does not make the deer come back.

[The tone of his voice is flat.]

Alas. My sincere apologies for the loss of your deer. I should have put Thori on a leash, et cetera, et cetera. How utterly foolish of me.
