Were this the Legacy, the black mist would form into a dark doppelganger of Katniss, and then she and her friends would beat it up, the mist would dissipate, and Katniss would come to her senses. Or alternatively, Katniss would have been consumed by the black mist, and even Jay can't know what would have happened then. In retrospect, beating up their own doppelgangers had simplified the process of defeating their own darkness in a certain way. But it's not so simple here. There's no black mist here. But then again, there might be a way...]

I have an idea. Go to the Battle Dome, create a dark duplicate of yourself, and fight it. It should help, especially if you want to punish yourself this badly.
